there I was picking a shop when I tried to move the trolley...it wouldn't budge so I took a look, and pushed a woman over the silly thing had crouched down in front of the trolley to look at something on a bottom shelf!!!!!
I asked her was she OK and she did say yes, but I told my manager just to cover myself in case she complained.
Now I think that was her fault, she should have told me she was going to do that, as she was completely hidden to me.....but at the end of the day, I'd get the blame.
Oh the joys of .com shopping

The joys of working with the great British public. Been there, done that and I've got the T shirt. Honestly, some folks brains are in their feet at times.
Then again CB, she pobably thought that you had x-ray vision.

It's all the fault of those shelves, top ones that you can't reach, bottom ones that you can't reach or read the prices on. I'm sure that someone should be able to come up with a better way of displaying goods.

She was probably on holiday from my local Tesco. If you want to peruse a shelf and have the temerity to ask the home shopper to move a trolley you get ignored, if you move it yourself you get told off but the chances of being run over are zilch 'cos they are usuall standing between trolleys and nattering!.

how right you are Stroppy! you need to be 8ft to reach some of the stuff on the top shelves, and I can't get down to the bottom ones with my dodgy knees.... surely there must be a better way.
trouble is in our store there just isn't enough room, we are a large store but not a big store, and they keep pushing more and more stuff into it, accident's are bound to happen.
feeling better tonight Stroppy?

Do you think that it could be planning by the male of the species CB?

definitely Chris, and it's male night staff that pile stuff up sky high too, and they have a habit of stuffing the stock in anywhere just to get rid of it, so I come along and have to rearange the flippin' shelf to find what I wantno wonder we are all bonkers...it's such a stressful job at times............

CB top shelves are the bain of my life, I had to price check last night and the silly plonkers had piled the shelves so high I had to keep going up and down on steps gawd my knees when I finished.
Our shoppers are a very patient lot and are always finding their trolleys miles from where they left them, although we do have one guy who thinks he is Sterling Moss and you fear for your life when he is working
