Caps, I like American chocks and prefer chocolate and mint or chocolate and peanutbutter for mixed flavours. Although Tesco do a luverly plain milk chocolate bar that isn't too spensive and tastes similar to American choc. 🙂 Cadburys is way too sweet for me.

that suprises me Stampy, as I've tried that Hersheys and it was sooo sweet my teeth knotted! I think Cadbury's has gone so sweet as they've reduced the cocoa solids so they make the flavour up with more sugar...yakky.
I like Galaxy. I don't go mad as I only like a wee bit, I prefer savoury stuff.....pass the marmite

Cadbury is US owned now & I think the recipe has changed. I think Hersheys smells of compost! (That's putting it politely) lol Aldi choc is nice as is Green & Blacks.

The top Chocolit which a friend of mine got us hooked on, but it is spensive!!!! is Hotel Chocolate. YUM!!! I love their dark chocolate with ginger. YUM!!!!!!!

Oh! I've been thinking it was my taste buds that have changed. I didn't have any choccy for three months and now I eat it again (sometimes) it doesn't taste as nice. I've always liked Cadbury's best but it doesn't taste of chocolate any more, just sugar!

Pat?? if you like Reeses peanut butter cups
you should make these
i make them quite a bit as they are easy to transport in lunchboxes
Reese’s Peanut Butter Bars
Ingredients
1 cup butter melted
2 cups digestive biscuit crumbs
2 cups icing sugar
1 cup + 4 tablespoons peanut butter
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, digestive crumbs, icingsugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9×13 inch pan. In a metal bowl over simmering water, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter, stirring occasionally until smooth. Spread over the peanut butter layer. chill in the fridge for at least one hour before cutting into squares.

MOH ate all his tinnies, then ate mine the greedy guts, although he has brought in a box of choccies tonight I'd better help him polish 'em off 🙂 it would be silly not to.

Merlin that is a brilliant recipe, I can make it with dairy free chocolate buttons so my lactose intolerant daughter can have special choklit treats instead of the boring ones available to buy
