New Years Eve...what will you be doing....if anything

So what will you be doing, if anything, on new years eve.

My friend has his boys until new years day, for a change, so the three of them, plus my son and I will be going out for a meal at the local Harvester. The boys all love Harvester as they can have as much salad and visits to the drinks bar as they like.

I always find it good value and always come away feeling completely full.

We shall get back at about 9pm so I shall drop my friend off at his house and we will come back home. I shall have a bath and hope to keep awake to see the fireworks in London on the TV.

All my hoovering and laundry will have already been done so no housework needs to be done on new years day itself.

Then...............it is back to reality 😞

In case I dont get back onto the boards again then I will take this opportunity to wish all my new friends on here a very happy new year.

We shall be at home as usual, probably Chinese meal and asleep in the chair, waking up for the fireworks and a skype chat with friends at midnight.  Pretty boring but we find it is really expensive in our local town as most places charge to get in and a taxi would cost us about £40 to get home, and the local pub will be packed. so best to leave it to the kids.  Poor son is staying home this year as he has to go to work at 7.30 on New Years Day.

OH will probably be doing what he's doing now....asleep in the chair!!

I shall be beside him, leg up in the air and asleep too hahhahaaa!!!!!!!!

then he will first foot the house and we'll go to bed.

My OH will be at work until 11.30 pm.  I have been invited out but I don't want my OH to come home to an empty house - we have had a carp year and I don't want to start 2014 off with us in separate places if that makes sense.

If I am home at least when he gets in from work, we can have a drink and welcome in the New Year together xx

We will be staying in.  We are normally in bed by 10pm but I suppose we'll try and stay up a bit longer.  I've no doubt that there'll be plenty of fireworks around here at midnight.

I shall be in my second home (the hospital). Depending on which night sister is on duty I might sneak off and join the porter's poker game - just for penny stakes.

It will be me, the dog & Jules Holland as usual. I love his Hootananny show on New Years Eve.

I have ordered in some nibbles and a lovely bottle of Cava. Hubby and I will be in with the critters and see the new year in, pretty much like we do most years in front of the telly.

We don't usually do very much to be honest, but I expect we'll be

awake listening to the fireworks going off everywhere and trying

to calm the cats down.

But I wish everyone, whatever they're doing, a very happy new year!

My days of clubbing on New Year are well and truly over. It will be me and the Cat,, feet up with my choccies and nibbles and pop!!!! ( not champagne cork pops ha ha). I shall watch Alan Carrs Specstacular!!!!!!!!!!!!! and channel surf around that programme. I dont stay up til midnight only if somethings on i want to watch... LOVELY.

We were invited to a party but we decided to go to daughter's instead.  Don't know if we'll stay until midnight though.

I'll be at work until about 3 pm then home to put my feet up.

I usually go to bed about 10 pm then get woken at midnight by the fireworks/concert etc from the Castle nearby.  If the weather is still as bad it might get cancelled

Just me and the cat and the TV, then watch the neighbours` fireworks.

I get a lovely view of them from up here on the 9th floor

Cat is not bothered, she sits on the windowsill and watches them through the window.

PJs on, feet up with lap full of ( flatulant ) kitten, kids watching the Smurfs 

And I am not really making jewellery for 2014's  Operation Christmas Child boxes cos that would be too organised for me

That's me back home after eating out. I am absolutely full to the rafters with my food.

Got driven there, but I drove back as my friend had had a few pints. Stopped off at his house for half an hour to fuss the dog then me and the boy came back home.

Off now to have a nice chillax in the bath (with my book) then hope to be back down in time to watch Big Ben strike and see the fireworks in London.

Not heard any fireworks here yet but no doubt they will be going off at midnight. Very cold here but not raining

We've had a few fireworks here already and I have no doubt there'll be a lot more at midnight.

Must admit though I think we'll be going to bed soon.
