Young Vets

Is anyone watching "Young Vets", weekdays on BBC2? I'm finding it really interesting. What a shame about that poor little kitten last night. Smiley Sad

Aww yes that Hedgehog, poor little thing, but at least they made sure it wasnt suffering any more. I was once told that a vet can treat a person if needs be, but a doctor cannot treat an animal

lol. I don't think you'd like me to take your temperature or give you an injection it usually follows after a good smack on the area you intend to inject, on the larger animals of course, I don't recommend giving someone's pet hamster a good smack& dogs & cats tend to not like it either.lol.or turning up when your in labour with ropes & pulley

Is anyone watching this tonight?  We were in tears over Blue the dog.  I could have hugged his young owner.  What a lovely young man.

I don't think that it was on last night because of the athletics.

We're watching it now and we were in tears over the labrador that had a heart condition and it had previously had cancer.  They removed the pericardium and sent it off for tests which came back as cancerous.  It was sad because that lovely dog had to go to Rainbow Bridge.
