Oh dear! T'other day I found myself watching "Last of the Summer Wine". It was rather amusing and I chuckled quietly to myself. In places I even laughed openly at the gently madcap antics of those three pensionable ne'er-do-wells.
I can't believe it's come to this....

Its not that you are getting old, it is that back in the 1970s and 1980s, they knew how to make comedies.
I don`t consider myself getting old, but I have a lot of old 70s and 80s comedies on DVD and watch them all the time.

I agree mustard-tree, I don't class myself as old, but I love watching Porridge, Only Fools, Fawlty Towers and the like. Don't make 'em like they used to that's for sure!

Similar to up there ^^^ you know you're getting old when your kids complain that they're getting old!!
But I agree, they don't make comedies like they used to!

You know that you're getting old when the policemen and even doctor's are getting younger.

Amazing how fast it happens...
I can cope with the fact that policemen, doctors, teachers and the like all look so young.
What's starting to worry me is just how young the pensioners are starting to look.
