we've got two pheasant, cleaned and ready for action. What's the best way to roast them please? one had a lot of blood gone into the leg flesh, will that still be OK to eat?
I got a nice gift of 4 of them, so I put two in the freezer.

Now merc, think about it, how would they have known what was in it if they were in some overseas country and got a meal sat down to them !
So yes after eating a meal I have asked what it was and was told and could only admit it was tasty.

I think my 3 brothers & father would have at least queried...but I fully intend to ask them.
We are a family of animal lovers, & they would have been appalled, & I'm sure would have mentioned something.
That said...you may be right, & they ate a cat or dog unknowingly...
