No MDCC this month?

Hello, hope you all had a good Festive Time (with a bit more to come!)

With it being the last Sunday of the month (and year!) yesterday, I thought I had missed MDCC listing and was aiming to get some 5-dayers ready for tomorrow, but I did a search to see if there was anything interesting to bid on and found ... Nothing!   (except the american photos, latin writings and random computer bits that happen to contain those letters!)

Is it all cancelled for January? Are we still on for February? Or have I missed something important?  If MDCC is off I'll have to do some 'normal' charity auctions soon. I've not had a moment for anything non-urgent for AGES - I haven't had a chance to drop in to FHG since last MDCC!

I know we didnt used to, but I thought the last couple of years there were a few. Never mind, I can do them at my own pace - trying to get some listed in the free listings before 5th January of course! But I've got a bit of a Germ trying to slow me down so maybe I'll leave it a few days.

Monthly Daft Charity Coalition.

Sellers put up to 5 listings for wild, whacky nice items on auction for whatever charity they want to support. They go up last Sunday in the month apart from December.  Threads mysteriously appear reminding us all to list and bis. It is all good fun when one can make the time.

Once each month sellers aim to have fun whilst raising money for charities and good causes of their choice

MDCC runs for 7 days starting on the last Sunday of each month (excluding December) and sellers are invited to list up to 5 fun auctions to raise money for their favourite charity or good cause.

All are welcome to join in.

No BIN's & state your charity in the listing & MDCC in the title. It is just a normal private listing by the seller. (Not Missionfish)

They all have MDCC in the title, so just do an MDCC search and you'll find them 🙂

Im sorry everyone im being a bit thick this morning ,,i put MDCC in ,, just MDCC in the search bar and still cannot see any stuff?. Do i have to put something specific like Lavender bags MDCC or something??. Im sorry if someone could explain. Its me.

The MDCC only runs for 7 days rose, so there won't be anything listed until the next one at the end of the month.

In all honesty I think the rise in fees and postage along with the lack of sales which brings along the next step fewer listings is sounding the death knell for MDCC in the format it is presently in. The solution I have absolutely no idea.

over the last couple of months we have had a lot of newbies so hopefully if they get involved mdcc  will pick up.

yes merc it is fun and i would be lost without it.and the charities would loose out big time so lets keep our fingers crossed.
