We had two lots of thunder at around 9am on Friday and more thunder in the early hours of yesterday and that's all we've had.

Nicest part of the day here now , a lot warmer than lunch time but there is a cooling breeze coming down from the mountain so enjoying a vino in the deck chair before tea needs dishing up

Sorry about the link freezing you pooter rose, but it seems ok for everybody else.
It's a live time lightening map and when I put it on FHG the only place with lightening in the whole UK was right over me!!! LOL We didn't get any at all until yesterday morning but now we've had it then, three hours last night and another hour or two today, so I think we've had our share now!

I don't think I get grumpy, (no more than usual anyway) but I get very lethargic, (a little more than usual! )

I don't tend to get grumpy with the weather. I just wish that it would cool down a bit. I don't like it too hot especially at night.

Would you believe it, we've just had another heavy downpour!! No thunder or lightening though thank goodness!
Thing is, hubby and grandson spent yesterday pumping out the two big underground water tanks, now they'll be half full again!! He's got the sewer man (you have the sewer man even for 'clean' water ) to pump them out fully but it's an extra £90 for every 1,000 gallons sucked up, so he was trying to save himself some money. Now he'll have to start again!!

We've been very lucky in Newark apart from a couple of thunder storms yesterday , it's been very muggy though for a few days which is very draining , don't know about anyone else but I get very grumpy when it's like that? Or perhaps it's just me! lol.
I actually find I get to sleep more soundly in this weather than I do for the rest of the year.

No thunder or rain here since Thursday night, very warm still though and getting hotter apparantly, with rain and thunder forecast for Thursday, that would be right I am on holiday this week.

When I got back to the car after being in town this morning, the car was telling me that the outside temperature was 33 degrees and that was just after 9am. A few minutes back, the temperature in the greenhouse was 43!! I know it sounds daft but I've just watered the floor of the greenhouse to make it more humid. It's more or less dry now which hasn't taken long.

I will see your 33 and raise you by 5, when we came out from lunch the temp gauge in the car said 38, me b u m almost got stuck to the seat ouch.

We've just got back from doing a food shop and it's still 30 degrees. It's hot enough here ed but 38 must be unbearable. We're never happy in this country over the weather are we? We moan if it's too cold and we still moan if it's too hot.
We nearly had an accident going to A*di. I was on a roundabout and some kind sold decided to pull out in front of me. As luck would have it, my reactions were quick enough to avoid an accident.
