Is anybody watching the Nadal/Kyrgios match. I really am torn. Normally I would want Nadal to win, but that young lad has been playing an amazing game.

What an excellent match; they both deserved to win.

I wanted Djokovic to win but I wouldn't minded if Federer had won. I like them both.

Ah well, only another 50 weeks to go...........................

It was a fantastic match and a wonderful win for Djokovic.
I would have liked Federer to win because he's such an elegant player and with an 8th win he would have knocked Pete Sampras off the record perch!
He did well to stand up to Djokovic's serve and that 3rd set had me on the edge of my seat...
I feel quite bereft today not having any tennis to watch... but, as you say soppy, only another 50 weeks to go.

I watched the final.
What a route march they have walking from dressing room to court, its a wonder they are not exhaused before they start
What is with the escorts, they don`t appear to be able to go to the loo without someone with them.
Security I expect.

Hi Lhasa, we seem to agree on quite a lot!!!!
Like you, love the 'elegance' of Federer's play - and have you noticed how much more relaxed he is now when speaking to the commmentatiors post match - it used to be like getting blood from a stone.
I am glad that young Djokovic won but sad to see the beginning of the decline of Federer I suppose. I like Nadal a lot too, but Federer is my favourite since Bjorg. Showing my age now
