Who would you swap with ...........

A post on another thread has just made me wonder if you could swap places just for one week with another FHG'er who would it be........

I think I would like to swap with ilovetopatch (Maggie).

A week living in her beautiful part of the world walking Damson a couple of times a day with the peace and serenity of the beach sounds wonderful, then back to hers to look through all her wonderful pieces of work in the hope that some of her talent may rub off on me while sipping a glass of wine. :-x

Not sure she could swap with me as don't think she'd like the constant bedlam of school runs/after hours clubs and teaching rugby with the littlies plus my job is sooooooooooooo boring :^O

Might have been different had I still got the pub though 😉

A walk of 1 mile takes us to a bus-stop. There is one at 7.30am. - there is one at 6.30pm...the last bus home - you miss that, yer snookered - then 1 mile walk back up the hill to home.

If anyone wants to see Sherwood Forest & Robin Hoods tree    its very close to me . Also have a few stately homes too Chatsworth , Hardwick Hall , Bolsover Castle are just a few .:-D

a bus every hour would be a luxury here.....

We get a bus once a week on a Tuesday ....unless the driver sleeps in and then it's on a Wednesday :^O

But you could always row down the river if you were desperate 😄

I think I'd like to swap with someone at the seaside and then I could swim in the sea to my heart's content!

Well, we have buses every 6/8 minutes here, just a few minutes walk to the bus stop, and loads of shopping centres within a few miles.  London is about an hour and a quarter driving and 20 mins on train.

But I'd quite happily swap it for a seaside town somewhere lovely like the south coast or Devon/Cornwall.

Oh Stan, I'm quite honoured that you would like to be me for the day, driving my bus!  Yesterday would have put you off though I'm sure, schoolchildren arguing and almost coming to blows over a most serious issue ....

who was going to sit on the front seat for the twenty minute journey home!  After that they all started doing impressions of those squealing mandrake plants on Harry Potter that sqeal when they're pulled out of the pots.  Just a normal day on the school bus!

Actuall fishy that also sounds like a normal sat night in the bar when the grown ups have had a few too many :^O

I would quite happily swap with anyone who lives in countryside, but also near to the sea, has no children about the house, who can cook lovely meals, and just to be able to relax and enjoy peace and quiet.  Only for a week though, I think I would miss my little Tribe eventually, :^O

No after 20 years behind the bar I am now a lady of leisure.............

well apart from a full time job,rugby coaching,school runs,baby-sitting,household chores and being everyones taxi service. :^O
