Not so much the person who is annoying, but I do wish that weather forecaster Susan Powell would learn to speak into the microphone properly. The rest of them manage it, but half of what she says is totally inaudible! At least with the weather forecast the pictures on the screen explain everything.

I don't know what his name is but the bloke on our regional BBC news who's the transport
correspondent. He speaks as if he's reading Thomas the Tank Engine to a bunch of
five year olds, very patronising.
Also, nobody in particular, but I can't stand the TV's obsession with getting people with regional
accents to do everything. I've no objection to regional accents, in fact I rather like most of them,
but can't understand why, out of all the people they can choose from, they have to choose someone
with a reagional accent, presumably 'cos they think it's politically correct as there seem to be far
more people with those accents than with clear, concise "home counties" accents as always used
to be the case. A lot of them just do not pronounce the words properly at all which, when presenting
the news or a documentary, is necessary.
