Do you use a particular Make just because you prefer the flavour, or for health preference reasons?
I have: "I Can't Believe Its Not Butter" (the LIGHT version) - because I like the flavour, it's easy to spread, and LIGHT hoping to be less fattening.
(Heard somewhere that Easy Spreads were not actually healthy)!

I often think of our ancestors. Not way back when they died young of disease but such as my parents and grandparents. They all ate butter, cream, full cream milk, fatty meat, fried in lard etc. but they all lived into their 80s. I don't think it's the food we eat that makes us ill, it's our lifestyle.
We eat too much sugar, too much salt and too many 'man-made' foods full of chemicals. Of course the stuff they feed to our animals and spray on the crops probably doesn't do us much good either.
I'm as guilty (or guiltier) as the next person, eat too much and don't do enough exercise!

We don't use a lot of Flora or butter. When we have bacon toasties, we never have butter or Flora but we will have a little bit of picalilli.

Books, I'm not being rude honestly, but do you and your mother EVER do anything different to each other? You always seem to eat exactly the same things at the same time and do the same things and knit at the same time and go to bed at the same time etc. You sound like siamese twins!
I know your mum doesn't swim.

I dont really use any butter or spread in a sandwich...
but if i have a scone , crumpet or french bread, it has to be real butter... or clover. I just like the buttery taste that you do not get with margarine or veg oil based spreads.
baked potato has to be smothered in butter ( good job i dont have them often!)

Butter on toast and jackets, sandwiches Clover, but usually I don't bother on a sandwich if it is a salad one I just put salad cream on the bread and cut out the marg.
