had to be the quietest November the 5th. yet! About eight rockets went up at about half past six, and that was it! They're probably saving them for January 1st. Oh well ...

We had fireworks for a good few hours and I think that the children from across the road had a bonfire as well. I do think though that we had more fireworks on Saturday night though.

Lucky you. They have been non stop here since before Diwali and are still going on. Like living in Beirut.

I wonder if Fishie would pick us up in her coach.
We did have a few fireworks earlier but it's blowing a gale here at the moment so they seem to have stopped for the time being.

You must live near me then. Mid September they started this year(anything after the first counts as a delayed start) and will undoubtedly carry on with more or less big bangs every night until it peters out, hopefully, near the beginning of January.

Can't have anything to go with wearing a pair of hearing aids, can it? We had a fair bit of rain down during the day, which could have dampened their entheusiasm.
