What would you Ladies do !!

I know what I should do,but  just wondered what you would do.  Sorry for the rambling.

I am always up early (don't sleep well) this morning at 4.20am I was drinking my coffee and heard a noise outside in the street, looked out of the window and saw a man literally fall out of a car. It was still fairly dark so couldn't really make out whose car it was, anyway I watched him then fall into the driveway of the people's house opposite. He then staggered to the front door whilst, fiddling in his pockets, I assume trying to find his keys . He then tried to get the key in the door without much luck. Yep you guessed he was in the wrong house.  Then he staggered and swayed back down the drive falling into the wall en route. .He then walked into a tree, then into another neighbours car, before finally getting to the gate of his own home, where he promptly fell over the recycling box . He then spent a further 5 minutes or so trying to get up, then even more time trying to get the key in the lock. Eventually he did.

I know this sounds really funny and if I am honest it would be amusing, if it were not so serious that he drove in that condition.   Now I do know for a fact he has already served a 3 year ban, albeit years ago, for drink driving. Which in my opinion means he couldn't care less and hasn't learnt anything from it. I really don't care if he hurts himself but I do care for others and would hate to see someone hurt or worse all because of this silly man, Or because I didn't report him.

I won't say at this time if I have or haven't reported him to the Police, I jsut wanted to know what others thought.

Thank you ladies for reading my rant.

Re: What would you Ladies do !!

Is there not now some online tie-in to car insurance / vehicle taxed etc?

If you see him out in his car today, contact your local station anyway because if he was that drunk even over 24 hours ago, the high alcohol content will still be in his system.

It takes more than a bit of sleeping it off for the alcohol to completely dissipate and he only has to have one or two normal drinks for his levels to shoot up again and for his abilities to plummet.

Re: What would you Ladies do !!

Oh gosh, sorry Stan if I upset you by asking for opinions, wasn't my intention at all.

Strangely enough this morning early, I saw 2 Police cars go up our road. A rare sight indeed.

Went out came back a few hours later as he was coming out of his house, I assume by his outfit, he was off to work. However, he was limping badly and had a really beautiful black eye!! Obviously his antics the night before caused him some injuries.  So I did call the police and told them he was getting into his car.  They said we will deal with it.  He can only go one way out  to where he is going so they would know where he will go to get onto the main road to Heathrow. So I guess I will only know if he has been picked up if he comes back without his car, or he just fails to come back. Lets hope that he becomes one less irresponsible person off the road.

Thanks for the replies.
