I'll send hubby and son round to yours to make your place untidy. Can you feed them as well because then i don't need to waste time cooking for them either. Now that will give you something to do.

Sit back and relax......that's what I would be doing......Obviously you will have time on your hands so you can chat to the rest of us.
I did all my household chores yesterday as well so I will be chillaxing. Usually I make myself a stir fry on a Saturday but today I am just gonna be ultra lazy and have a take away.

Took a walk down to our local Countryside Park with a picnic, it's been there several years & we've never been yet. It features 4 big hills with amazing views over London (we can see the Post Office Tower, Gherkin etc one way & Wembley stadium the other), the hills were built with (& funded by) the rubble etc that was created from the old Wembley Stadium & the site where the Westfield shopping Centre now stands. Clever council charged the demolition company to dump the rubble & used it as landscaping which also acts as a sound barrier from the A40.

WOW! What a lovely place Gina. You'd think you were out in the middle of nowhere from the last pictures but the second one (I think it was) is amazing, all those landmarks you can see!

You wouldn't believe it was London
Loving the tatts Mr.P

Brilliant view from there Gina. Shame about the huge leylandii conifers. I hate the things!
It looks like a lovely place for a walk. The council can be clever when it tries hard! lol

That looks terrific what a peaceful place and so close to London,
I decided on batch cooking for the freezer, Chilli, Spag. Bol, Lasagne and Cottage Pie.
Hubby came back early because of the rain and first words were whats for lunch? aaarrrggghhhh.
Had a short nap, read the local paper, now on the computer, hubby asleep in the chair with my words ringing in his ear, you are not supposed to be here today so I have things to do so leave me alone and if you want coffee.......................
All in all not a bad day if somewhat different to plan.

Mags, the long row of conifers in the 2nd pic are next to the new secondary school that is being built to shield it from the A40,
We also found a new little 'country lane' running parallel to the A40 leading to the country park, which we didn't know was there.
There are 5 fishing lakes (the little wooden pontoon style thing by the lake is for the fisherman, so that the banks of the lake don't get eroded), they are all around the lake, a seperate lake for people with remote control boats (very well used), 2 well equipped play parks for the littlies, a cafe & the 4 hills. Lovely & peaceful
