I don't put anything on salmon whilst I am cooking it.

How do you cook your turkey?  We usually have chicken breasts.  I put them in the oven (just painted with a little oil, in a lidded pot.  I cook them in the hottest oven for half an hour and then the simmering oven for an hour.  They come out so tender it falls apart.  Hubby won't eat it any other way.

When we have turkey steaks, we do them the same way that you do your chicken.  For tonight's tea, I bought pre-cooked turkey.

You don't know what you're missing!Smiley Very Happy  Not all milk.  Half milk, half water from cold with mustard brushed over the salmon - C'est bon!

Overdone the curry powder or chillies?  Add slices of fresh banana as you tuck into it.  Choose rice that clings - not Uncle Ben's which doesn't expand.

I can only eat fresh salmon.  If I eat tinned salmon, I always come out in a rash for some reason or other.

I like salmon, but not out of a tin  I find that very dry.  Smoked salmon pieces in a sandwichwith lettuce, cucumber and salad cream I love but Sainsburys no longer sell it, and I can't afford smoked salmon slices - that's very expensive.  I saw a whole salmon - unsmoked going for about £15.00 but we'd never have managed it and half of it would have gone to waste and to me waste is a wicked sin.  I used to mock my late father about waste until I had to pay for it.  My dream is to see an empty waste food bin where nothing gets turned into fertiliser but I fear that will never happen in our household.

It's very very rare I ever throw food out.

If he leaves anything the dogs eat it and when we had the chickens, anything the dogs didn't eat, they would.

I might throw a couple of slices of stale bread to the birds now and again, but that's all.
