Is there one thing (or two ) you would be heartbroken to loose, of huge sentimental value or monetary value or just something you love.

Blimey, what an interesting job Sam. I would never have guessed what you did.

See that didn't hurt did it Sandra, Sorry I was taking the older dog out for a walk.
That is a lovely thing to keep, I have a letter that I keep with my Nans charm bracelet that she wrote a few years before she died telling me how much she loved me. Gives me a warm feeling everytime I read it.
Dr. Death Hat eh, that I have to see go on post it on the other thread.

At least you don't have to worry that the patient comes round while you're still digging around in there!
I don't know what I treasure most. Perhaps my wedding ring.

Same here, my wedding ring. But I've never married.
My Father brought some gold rings back from Saudi when he worked there, and gave me one of them. It's on my ring finger as that's where it fits, but it's not unsuitable, as it signifies the man whom I love best of all. Sadly he's been gone 9 years now.

Saasher - so you're a sort of Quincy for animals?

It is a toss up between my bed and my wheelchair.
My bed is my refuge, the place that I can be comfortable, and sometimes almost pain free
My wheelchair is my freedom.
Other than that, a huge brass tray - used to have a stand so that it could be used as a table. My mum and dad brought it back from Egypt when he was stationed there in the Army. I can't count the number of times I polished that tray as a child. It is older than I am.

A number of years ago now I lost just about everything I had ever owned due to horrible personal circumstances, I ended up with one suitcase of clothes and my beloved dog on the end of a lead! For a while I was devastated at losing "my memories" but soon learned to cope without posessions, replace the things I really needed and lived without all the other items. Nobody was able to take away my memories or the things that make me who I am, and surprise surprise I survived it - no posessions are really that important, the valuable things are in your head and your heart
