What films have we been watching?

To go along with Towery's book thread how about film recommendations.

We recently watched Warm Bodies - an interesting spin on the Zombie theme.

Also watched Another Earth - quite good but strange filming method used.

Gravity is dull and predictable, some good special effects but  very disapointed all CGI and little substance.

American Hustle - OMG what a dreadful film this is, don't bother.

Saving Mr Banks - an absolute delight - Emma Thompson at her best.

Last Vegas - Entertaining, with the stunning cast of more 'mature' actors.

I am so often disapointed by films these days, probably me  - expecting more than they deliver.

He always sounds like he's trying to be James Stewart to me.

Can't remember ever seeing a film he was in that I really liked. He did a really good job of directing 'The Life of David Gale' though, a very good film.

Saving Mr Banks & Captain Phillips both should have won Oscars last night but they didn't 😞

Killers staring Tom Selleck ,,  thriller with a bit of comedy thrown in 🙂

YES,,,you got it there Kimmy he has a lovely Drawl to his voice i think. I always love mens voices,  ohhhhh

I think he's perfect as the voice over for characters in animated films 🙂
