Pork casserole, mash and veggies - hopefully.
I am giving up chopping onions. For 25 years I have shut one eye and happily chopped. 1 cataract op later and I shut one eye and the tears are pouring out the other one - help, what do "normal" people do. Think I will be buying loads of pre-chopped onions.

My friend brought chicken and vegetable soup and granary bread - all home made and absolutely fab.

Foundsomeroastingbagsatthebackofthedrawer, soslapped a small chicken into one and put it in at 140 degrees for nearly 2 hours,, then took out of the bag and gave it 15 minutes at 210 degrees to crisp the skin up. It was melting off the bone. Three cats here with smiles on their faces.
