I don't know what got into me tonight, I just fancied salad, I must be sickening for something!! So we had Pilchards, new potatoes, hard boiled eggs, cheese, lettuce, tomato, quiche and cucumber.

well I was going to have beef curry as my daughter was coming over with the kids (savoury mince & rice for them) but she's just phoned to say her road is all taped off & she can' t get out. Also next road blocked by at least 20 police cars (didn't know we had that many in the area), 3 ambulances & a couple of police vans so something big going on there.
So now I need to look in the freezer & find a 'one person' meal that doesn't need defrosting
