Definitely, Rose, watching TV, snowballs and a big tin of sweets, (I don't sit around doing nothing very often so it's a bit of a treat)

We always exchange presents on Christmas Eve and sit back once everything that needs to be done has been done.  I always get my mum lot of little things that she needs such as toiletries and a load of other things as well.  We are just sitting down now and relaxing.

OH will be working over Christmas, so I'm going to enjoy the peace and quiet and take my dogs for some nice walks, then read or do a puzzle or watch Tv. I don't mind being on my own at all.

Must admit that I don't mind being on my own either.  I know when I've had to get my mum into hospital, it's been hectic but when I've got back from the hospital at teatime and had my tea and then settled down for the night.  It's been good.
