Happy Christmas everyone.
Sadly shall only be partially home, - being allowed to bring my baxter pump and i.v. meds home for part of the day, provided that I promise to lie on the setee and do nothing. Will be let out at about 11:00 and need to be back at about 7pm.
A & E consultant is coming shortly after 10pm tonight to take me to church service as he knows how much I miss it if I can't go. As he says if he isn't qualified to look after me for a couple of hours and deal with any medical emergency then no-one is. We have managed to alter the timing of my meds slightly so that I won't need i.v. meds whilst we are out.
One of the junior docs managed to get my computer connected to the hossie broadband, so I can at least watch some T.V. as the one in my room doesn't work. I cheated and managed to spend nearly 4 hours on "live chat" with apple customer support - we have finally managed to get my computer and i-pad talking to each other, have got my music on my i-pad, have removed the credit card details from son's i-tunes account, and have managed to re-create my i-tunes account so that I can download apps onto my i-pad. Those customer support staff have the patience of saints!
