Well my faith in Humanity has hit a new all time low....
Swishy Daughter and her boyfriend had a Halloween party at the weekend in their home...invitation only unless someone had a new 'plus one' but they expected those firends to vouch for them and you don't turn away someones new boyfriend/girlfriend if they arrive at the door as a couple do you?
A great time was had by all and many messages of thanks were sent to them both for the party.....
Until they started getting texts asking if people could call round to pick up phones and ipods that they thought they had left the night before..
Yup...you've guessed it.....nothing to be found, they turned the house upside down.
In total two iphones,Swishy Daughters ipod,a wallet and a pair of gold earrings have gone....one phone traced to a local phone shop but owner denies all knowledge so the police are now involved
Why does rubbish stuff happen to nice people .......

Oh my Twishy I've only just read this, its awful & to think it could have been one of their friends makes it so much worse
I do hope they manage to find out who it was & then at least it puts all the others who were there in the clear

Thats awful Gina, some people are so Hateful, they will take advantage of anyone. I think the idea of getting the original partygoers together on a pretence but not to arouse suspicion of the theft. Then if there was someone who did not turn up or made an excuse they would look a bit like one of the suspects then???..

What a dreadful thing to happen. I hope they find out who it is.
Maybe its a child of the couple my OH paid the mortgage for to prevent them losing their house...oh no,, of course not, their grandparents and parents weren`t married.
Cousin organised the raffle at a works do. He knew he had sold over £400 worth of tickets (for a charity). It was a ticket only do, all present were co-workers and their partners (wives or fiancees back in those days )
When he counted the money there was only £100 left
He was a senior police officer.
