I was away Valentines day until yesterday. I was visiting an elderly relative on hubby's side
of family.
So, still recognising the Valentines theme of the day, I hung a red and a purple heart on
each of our overhead bedroom lights. I'd made the hearts at my glass class. I also
put a card on the bed for hubby.
He did find the card but didn't notice the two hearts, about 10cm across, hung on the
lights! He still hadn't noticed them today until I told him!
I've just made a heart shaped chocolate cake which I will decorate with icing and choccy
hearts that I bought (reduced!) yesterday.
Son said, "He'll notice it's a cake alright, as it's food, but I doubt he'll notice it's heart-shaped"!!
He's probably right.
I got some flowers - I bought them reduced to 25p last Tuesday as the supermarket were
going to throw them away and I felt sorry for them. Hubby says they smell funny, I said they're
still in flower, you can't expect them to smell nice too for 25p!
