Tuesday's Tea Thread

We've had chicken, pasta, mixed veggies all cooked in a Hoi Sin and oyster sauce.  Delicious it was too.

Daughter is cooking ours again tonight.  I think she said it was gammon steaks, new pots and veg for me and pizza and pots and veg for him.  A funny combination for him but he doesn't get enough veggies!:-D

Then I'll provide our trifle.;-)

Haven't really decided yet....... either stirfry or curry. Going to use Quorn and veggies either way. LOL I might op for Curry and rice.

Life is too short so enjoy it while you can!

Cheesey egg on a Plate, very easy.  Should really be done in the oven, but you can cheat and use the microwave, but be careful to prick the egg yol first if you do.

Simply break an egg (or 2) onto an ovenproof plate, grate cheese all around it, covering the egg white, but not the yolk. Add a few knobs of butter, sprinkle with salt & pepper (I like to put Paprika on mine), and bake in oven until egg yolk is cooked and all the cheese and egg white should be fairly 'solid'.  If you use the microwave, make sure to prick the egg yolks first otherwise they will explode. Takes about 4 minutes in the microwave, serve up with crusty bread & butter 🙂
