Tomorrow I wave goodbye to my womb!

Well, the op looms. I have to be in at noon tomorrow for the afternoon session, so that means an early breakfast before 7, and then nothing but water until 11.

Not quite sure how I feel at the moment. Been keeping busy all day, catching up with washing and shopping etc.

Have a feeling it'll be a sleepless night tonight!..........

My op took my ovaries & tubes but left my womb. 😐

😮 I've never heard of that being done before 😐

Mine was vaginally & took my womb & cervix but left my ovarys  ........ & the great thing about losing my cervix is  I don't need to have a smear test anymore  😄

I was having a laparoscopy for acute pain in my groin & signed a thing to say they could remove them if there was a problem. I had a huge cyst on one & at nearly 50 I didn't need the other one so they cut me open & took them out. They left the rest as it was a Bank Holiday weekend & they wanted to get home! :^O That's what one of the nurses said afterwards! The aftercare was abysmal but that's another story!
