Did something I don't normally do today, bought a ready meal,  OH is going to work at 4pm son has already left and I shall be going at 11pm so no cooking, fed right up with salad, too hot to cook, I am having a healthy eating Mushroom stroganoff, it was the one with the least salt and fat. doesn't look very appetising but will reserve judgement untill I taste it.

Turkey fillet, mixed veg and gravy.  Mum's turn to cook today which I'm glad about because it's too hot to cook I think.

My neighbour just brought these in so it's fish for tea!

Lovely, we tried bream once very tasty, sadly my OH only manages to catch mackeral, dogfish or flatties, unless he goes course fishing then it is rainbow trout.

Dogfish is my favourite fish. Don't like skinning it though!

Ouch, plays havoc with your hands, usually get OH to do it, tastes lovely though.

Update on the mushroom stroganoff ready meal..................................................YUK

I wont be buying that again, huge slices of onion about 4 mushrooms and a horrible sauce.

We've just had omelet with cheese in, son's with pasta and mine with rice salad.

My omeletes are made by me with a combination of omelet ingredients but they

don't always get arranged in the order that makes them actually look like an omelet!

They look pretty gross really but son thinks they're awesome, the best omelets ever,

in fact when he was smaller and we had omelets out somewhere, he thought they

weren't omelets as they didn't look my my specimens!  Eventually he realised that

it was mine that didn't look like anyone else's!

Ice cream for pud.

we had sausages beans and chips, had to use up the sausages...far too hot to be cooking really, I'm so hot now!!!!!

Just had a lovely shower and I'm cooling down a bit now.

Waiting for mine. It's in the oven now. Going to have pulled pork, roast potatoes, peas, cabbage & a mushroom sauce. No apple sauce for my pork as I don't like sweet/fruity flavours with savoury.
Will follow that with a meringue nest, strawberries, raspberries, pineapple & mango topped with greek yoghurt

Nice looking Fish!!!!.. I had Chicken Kiev again with lots of Salad. Strawberry cheesecake haagen Daaz for puds. Yummy ice cream!!.
