My husband and I are planning to take the 3 grand children to Thorpe Park.
Does anybody know the ticket for a baby of 19months old??
All is says on the website is children under 12 years!!!!
My grand children are 19 months, just over 3 and 4 and a half.

Children under 1 metre tall are free,
There are very few ( if any) rides there that children under that height can access.

I was about to say the same Chez. Legoland would be more suitable for those ages.

I would definately agree that Legoland would be far more suitable, having been to both numerous times with work. The rides at Thorpe Park are more suited to children over 10 yrs or so and I wouldn't have thought you would get very good value for money at all at Thorpe Park.
Or maybe Southend on Sea or somewhere like that - they have rides for all ages and you don't have to pay to go in a place that you won't use most of.

Not sure where you are or how far you want to travel but take a look at Paulton's Park(hampshire). It caters very well for younger children and children under 1m get in free but there is loads of stuff for them as well. Travelodge type place virtually next door. Daughter took Sproglet and "complained" she'd have to go again because they never got round it all - Sproglet being under 2 and well under 1m..

It is going to be difficult to travel as cannot get myself, hubby and 3 young children with car seats in my car.
I live around 15 min walk from Thorpe park and thought this would be idea but reading the comments it does not look likely.
It looks like I will have to find another place,
and not LEGOLAND either not keen on that place for some reason or another.

Personally I don't like those huge places where they charge a fortune to get in and, apparently, everything is included. Except obviously food, souvenirs, money for jump-the-huge-queues passes etc etc etc. These places are just getting greedier and greedier and, as others have said, young children get reduced admission (not reduced by much) but are unable to go on most of the attractions.
I mean, just to indicate just how greedy these places are, Thorpe Park charge a fortune to get in and also charge about a fiver to park a car! It's commercialism at its very worst and very greediest.

True - prices are structured according to height. However, Thorpe Park is not a pleasant place to visit in recent times! It used to be such a lovely place to go with young'uns about 18 yrs ago. I live not too far away from it, and they used to do Mother & Toddler Tickets, the whole day for £3 or £4. Now they've got rid of all the child-friendly rides, seem to be trying to make it into the South-East's Alton Towers. Not pleasant any more - loads of marauding gangs of teenagers. It is truly horrid and I wouldn't take littlies there, personally.
LEGOLAND or Chessington are far more family-friendly (I love Chessington)
