These boards break my heart

They make the Marie Celeste look like the Ministry of Sound on a busy night.

It's nobody's fault.  But what can we do?  I used to love coming here, when if you went away for a wee or a cuppa, your thread had disappeared onto the next page, overtaken by other threads. 

For me, and others like me, they are a lifeline.  Why are they dying?  Dedicated posters keep posting, but new blood is missing.

Help, someone, please.

This is only my opinion but I think it would be much better to let the forum die instead of having the majority of people just popping in now and again, posting one thing then going to let the four or five that do stay try and keep the conversation going. While those that did pop in have gone elsewhere and having a proper conversation.

The ones that have went elsewhere let the people you know and want to chat with know where you are and leave this to the fate it seems destined to because of the moderation.

Sadly sometimes we cant all sit on here waiting for a reply, its not a secret society, we post things we think people would want to chat about but it cant be anything deep and meaningful, due to rules that restrict what we say.

We all love a chat and welcome everyone to join in. Its not a select band or group just a group of mates, the reason a lot of us have gone elsewhere has been spoken about before. There is far more freedom to say anything.

precisely ed and that is why I suggested letting some of the others know where you are and even maybe trying to find an alternative to facebook as you may have seen some do not want to go there. For example I saw "worms" mentioned and some of the ladies had no idea what was being spoken of.

As for myself I would not go elsewhere anyway as I frequent the selling forum more than any others.

The fact that some of us go elsewhere to chat is not a secret ......................................... it's called face book

and guess what over there as you call it means that we can have opinions,chat without moderation and even say pudding names that can't be discussed on here without a sore arris

i would like to be able to post on both sides here and there as there are a lot on here who do not like over there and there are them over there who do not like it over here so i like to be different and like it over there and over here....i also think i may have taken to much medication .
