Seeing as some of you have really taken Tweet the Budgie to your hearts, I thought he should have his own special fan club thread where you can post your good wishes for his Xray on Wednesday or anything else you want to write. So far his fan club consists of Rose; Capn B; Sam; Chris.

What a long, worrying day it has been; had to have Tweet at the vets for 9-30 a.m. When it got to 2-40 and I still hadnt heard anything, I phoned and was told he was in the middle of his Xray! (Why did I have to get him there so early then?) Anyway, 3-50 the vet nurse phoned to say I could collect him. He is now back home but I was warned that just because he is ok now, it doesnt mean he will be tomorrow as birds should not have anaesthetics! Hopefully he will be ok though. He was ever so pleased when I put him back in his normal cage, he had a few chirps and a bit of Trill. I asked if he had been talking/swearing at the vets but they said he was very quiet. See - he loves and misses his mummy, LOL  The house has seemed very quiet without him. Thank you everyone for caring about him and asking after him. I won't get the results for maybe a couple of days as the xrays have been referred  to the Avain vet. As soon as I hear anythig I will let you lovely, caring, Tweeters know. xxxxxx

Well, Tweet is a happy little bird this morning thank goodness. He is bashing his toys and talking and eating, bless him. He says a big  Thank You to all who have wished him well. Will keep you updated when I get the results xxxx

Great news about Tweet, I'm so glad he seems to be OK, you'll have to teach him a new sentence for when he goes to the Vet!

Im so pleased hes ok this day!!!!!. Tweet you have been a very brave boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Lots of Hugs and lets hope your results come back A OK!!!!!. If i was there i would give you a Kiss or PECK ha ha on your little cheek. Your mum worries about you and we love you so you have to be ok babybird!!!!. Lots of Love to mum and you and other animals you live with Tweet!!!.

We have a routine on a morning, Rose, whereby when I have cleaned Tweet out, he sits on my hand a couple of times. The first time today he was fine, but the second time he was pulling the skin up on the back of my hand, it didnt half hurt! Think he is getting his own back for yesterday, LOL I still love him to bits though. It's good to hear him talking away again, the house was too quiet yesterday without him. If anything had happened to him, I would have to get another one, but there will only ever be one Tweet. I oncwe likened him to that mad doll, Chucky (was it a doll?) in the horror film and he used to sit there saying "Chucky!"

Please - someone put me a speech bubble on Tweet's photo that says, " I love the Tweets!" I don't know how to do it.

Oh Carol youve made me larf about Chucky. It was an Evil doll that came to life i think ha ha LOL.!!!. Ohhh LOL.
