Seeing as some of you have really taken Tweet the Budgie to your hearts, I thought he should have his own special fan club thread where you can post your good wishes for his Xray on Wednesday or anything else you want to write. So far his fan club consists of Rose; Capn B; Sam; Chris.

Tweet is right handsome chap isn't he?  He's a crafty beggar with the little nips.  Hope that he's been a good boy today.

That's his spiky new hairdo, Sam, where the new feathers are sprouting As for the inevitable, now what on earth could that be? Scratches head wondering......... At least I'm getting some days where it isnt hurting, so that's a bonus. And no......I can't think of any new words, I think I called him a little bu**er, it's one word I've not heard him repeat. (Hope it doesnt get bleeped out, last time I put asterisks in a word, they still bleeped it out.)

To my lovely Tweeter friends, Rose, Chris, Sam - we are well today thank you. Tweet was bashing his toys before I took his cover off this morning, I think he has a new interest in life now, because after I had cleaned him out AND dodged his beak (ain't I getting clever!)  he went straight down his ladder and over to the mirror that stands against the cage side and started pecking his reflection. Awww he's cute, isn't he? His chest area is looking much better, I'm hoping the feathers will stay on this time and that it was an allergy of some sort, or maybe the vet was right and with him being very fat (!!) there was fat round the hair follicles causing the loss. He defo looks slimmer to me since I took the honey bar away from him. xxxx

I'm sorry to hear your tums upset, hope it improves soon, probably the correct word then for Mr Tweet, although it's not so funny for you! lol. I'm fine although I think I have a cold coming ,first one for years. I keep going all hot & cold & can't get warm, still that's nothing in comparison to what others have so I'm thankful for that at least. lol.

Hurray!! Tweet has decided to eat some dandelion leaf today:smileyhappy He didnt want to know the other day. I'm really pleased with how his chest looks now, hope he is getting better.

Sorry that you're not feeling well Carol.  (((((Carol)))))  I'm glad though that Tweet has decided that he will try the dandelion.  He's still saying naughty words though.  That is not good Tweet no is it?

My stomach is still very gurgly, Sam; it was awful in bed last night, gurgling away like a sink emptying, so I didnt get much sleep. Takes a few days to settle down when its like this, its not the Crohns, its the IBS. Tweet is still looking good with the chest feathers; I took his cover off before 6a.m. this morning and he was raring to go.Not been in much today, but what I've heard so far is him saying the dogs names and not swearing - yet. He'll be happy on Saturday when X Factor returns xx

Thanks for the hugs Carol.  Sorry that your IBS is playing up.  If it's not one thing, it's another.  I'm glad that Tweet hasn't been swearing or has he started since you posted?
