Seeing as some of you have really taken Tweet the Budgie to your hearts, I thought he should have his own special fan club thread where you can post your good wishes for his Xray on Wednesday or anything else you want to write. So far his fan club consists of Rose; Capn B; Sam; Chris.

To Rose and Sam.......being the cautious girl that I am ("Girl" as in 60 yrs old next January, LOL) I don't like to say too much about the hernia and tempt fate, but its behaving itself at the moment and thanks for asking. Now have I spoken too soon? We Capricorns dont like to do that, LOL Will keep you updated; and Tweet is using his norty words today so he's obviously on top form. When I cleaned his cage out earlier, he hopped onto my hand instead of nipping me. He'll be having a bit more salad tonight, which he likes. xx

Sam - Cress is on Tweet's very long "don't like" list; he'll enjoy his small piece of hard-boiled egg though and cucumber and tomato and lettuce.

You are like me, Chris, you don't like to tempt fate, LOL Whenever anyone asks how I am, like the neighbours or anyone, I always say "I'm fine" even if I'm not; you are probably the same.

Carol, that's exactly what I am like.  When someone asks me how I am, I always say I'm fine even if I feel awful.

I'm having to be careful as one of the dogs caught my hernia last night; she doesn't know that by using my tum as a springboard she is hurting me; I must get into the habit of putting a cushion on my tum when I am sat down. As for Tweet, he's been eating quite a lot of grit this morning, but he's his usual chirpy self, gazing at himself in the mirror at the moment; maybe he is trying to see if he has lost any weight, LOL Hope you are ok today, Chris?  xx

I've got a few sore joints at the moment Carol but I've been out all day and I'm normally like that when we've been out for the day.  Sorry that one of your dogs hurt your hernia.  I bet that was painful.

I hope that Tweet is on his best behaviour at the moment.

Hi Rose & Sam; yes, hernia is ok again (for now) thank you. There was a big long tail feather in Tweet's cage, but think it was just through normal moulting, still got a sparsely covered chest, better than it was, he looked oven-ready before Anyway the litte monkey caught me out today, he's learnt a new trick; usually if he is going to peck me, he does it as soon as he sees my hand, but today he jumped onto my hand as he usually does and THEN he nipped! Not amused. But.....I'll be ready next time, LOL (I hope!)

Rose.....if you want to give Tweet a cuddle, you are quite welcome to try, but you might need big gloves on like they use for Birds of Prey! xx
