Terrific Tuesday Teatime Temptations

For me it is mushrooms in a creamy garlic sauce with pasta and for the teenager it is plain old spag bol. Maybe we will have jam rolypoly for afters with custard depending on how much room is left in the tum

Pork chops in gravy with veg and chips.  Went to bank but veggie shop was just too far(nearly next door)

Just put a beef caserole in the oven to slow cook , we will have suet dumplings with it & mash !

Beef chilli pitta pockets with coleslaw and salad. Dont know about afters yet.

Special treat for Mr S tonight as it's our anniversary so his favourite

T-Bone steak, home made chips, peas, grilled tomatoes and onion rings with a creamy peppercorn sauce

and if he has any room left I have made a hazelnut meringue roulade with fresh cream and raspberries .

We will be having liver and kidney in a lovely thick gravy, mashed potatoes (out of the garden) carrots, parsnip, sprouts, cauli and green beans and Yorkshire pud.  I'm looking forward to it.

we had smoked cod with potatoes in butter and parsley, with leeks. choccy mini roll for afters...... I'm still hungry though.....

I've cooked specially for CG and we will be having pulled Pork with homemade coleslaw in homemade rolls. Custard tarts as well but eldest has declared them eggy 😞

They're not all mashed gina, one row mashed, one row roasted, 2 rows chipped and one row with no peel on for nakeds!  

Hey grumpy, I ordered some cold set custard last night.  You just mix it with water apparently.  I was just intrigued so ordered some to have a look.  I think it's like you get in those flaky custard slices with the white icing on the top.

No, he doesn't have meat chickens, but how do you like your eggs laying, hard boiled, soft boiled, scrambled or fried?  He's almost perfected  an ommelette chicken too.

We had the stew tonight that I was going to fix last night. LOL Had jacket potatoes last night instead of the stew. For afters we had bread and butter puds.

Started a lamb tagine off this morning only for OH to phone me later to say she'd be home later than usual, so cunningly switched to some home-made lasagne out of the freezer (thawed out in time to nuke it) with salad and garlic bread

Looks like lamb tagine tomorrow then...
