THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

i'm with maggie in the best house mouse is a dead house mouse

just cos there is evidence under the sink doesnt mean its stayed there

they get everywhere, leave germies around,  you have grandkids around i wouldnt want any chance of them catching anything

my sister found one trapped in her toaster once, dead

I have done a bit of mouse-tracking, no evidence anywhere else. It's on the wall where it joins with the conservatory so I think there must be a direct route under that into that cupboard. Luckily there is no food stored in any cupboards at that side of the kitchen, just vases & my yankee tarts (perhaps he was attracted in by the smell!)

Cat is not much good, in fact the mouse must be marginally more intelligent than the cat as he is in the warm & the stupid cat is standing in the snow wondering where to put his feet!

I'm still here, I've been reading up on how to cook the turkey in the Aga.  I can do it 'hot and quick', 'medium and medium' or 'low and long', so I'm no wiser really!

Yummy looking things mags.  I'm not doing anything else present-wise. I've just to clean the house and do my Tesco order next week and I think that will do me!  (until the last minute when you remember all the things you've forgotten!:O)

I've just opened a tin of Quality Street. Anyone fancy one.....or 6?

I had just given up on you all. I have been watching a film. The Lovely Bones...quite sad.:-(

I am taking my achey bones off to bed shortly. More decorations to do tomorrow.

Low & long sounds good to me CG.;-)

Yes I could do it long and low, put it in overnight.  I don't want it to turn to mush though.  I once cooked one in the ordinary oven and I think I did it a bit too long.  I had to spoon it onto the plates!:^O

Have you had any more snow?  We had about an inch at tea time.

Is your hip any better for the injection do you think?

I've heard from two of the three SS. The other one is usually on here quite often but I haven't seen her for a while.

:^O I can imagine that!  I just can't get on with FB, I don't understand it. Everyone 'speaks' in such short sections, I don't know how to describe what I mean really. I like a good old chin-wag, but on there no-one says more than about 6 words each.?:|

I haven't been doing much at all, and yes, I've been drinking too.:^O I started eating Quality Street but I'm not keen on them, I prefer Cadbury chocolate, but if I start the box I've got, they'll be gone in two evenings!:O

Would you believe it, there's a little fly flying around here!  Doesn't it know it's winter?  We get more than our fair share in the summer, without having them in December too!:O

Right, I'm off to bed now, see how long I can be asleep before the coughing wakes me up again.  Night night CK.:-x

Morning all. Not even sure what an ipad is.

No snow here either Hippy but it all looks frozen solid outside so I am staying put!
