Yes it's Christmas lunch but we have all chosen off the main menu! lol I am having duck. Decided against venison.

Twishy should have been away with me. Six days crossing the Atlantic so I chose to do a chocolate making course, absolutely brilliant. Teacher owns the Chocolate Boutique Hotel in Bournemouth.

Gina, I agree,  Twishy would have loved that.

I met my dad at lunchtime for a drink.  He came back from Malta on Monday and I actually got another £20 off him.  My dad had already given me money for my birthday and Christmas so the extra money was a bonus.

Must admit, I am not a fan of venison.  I think that it has a very rich taste.  To me, the best time to have a Christmas lunch is on Christmas day.  Admits to having a Christmas lunch on my birthday when my mum took me out to lunch.

I made a dozen yesterday.  I don't like making them as they're soooo fiddly!  I opened a big jar, made the dozen and put all the rest in a big pie!!  I don't like eating them either YUK!!

Besides, my filling usually boils over the top because I put too much in!

Congratulations Von.  Merc, I think it might be pink flavoured.  Our little lady will be 3 just after Christmas.  I don't know where that three years has gone.  She's getting a bike off Father Christmas and a trampoline for her birthday.

Not been back from the hospital long.  Had to take my mum to the heart valve clinic.  Mum's heart hasn't improved but then again, it hasn't got any worse which is good.  They've looked at what medication mum's on and they've decided that they'll leave it as it is.

I've got to go to the hospital on 27th about my skin cancer.  I have to go to see my GP on 30th about a problem with the ankle I haven't got.  I managed to get bitten where the bone graft is when it was Steph's wedding.  Saw the doc last week and he gave me antibiotics which haven't worked so I have to see him again.  Honestly, I should have been shot years ago.
