I've been looking after little granddaughter while my son took the other one back. It took thirteen hours to bring her on Friday (with the Blackwall Crossing hold up) but only four hours today to take her back. A slight difference. Look at the weather at Goodwood though!! It was lovely here when he set off and landed.

That does look dark and stormy CG , went dark here also and wind really picked up here just before it poured down

CB, is there any crumble left? Please. Pretty please. Loves crumble with custard. Absolutely delish.
CG, the sky in that photo looks bleak.

I don't think that we will be watering our gardens either CB. It's pouring down here at the moment. First thing this morning, we had wall to wall sunshine and then this afternoon it was all change.

I think the rain is ok but I wouldn't fancy being up in that thing if it was thundering and lightning!
Mind you, I wouldn't fancy being up in that thing full stop!!

Same here CG. It doesn't bother me flying but not in anything like that.

Have never been up in anything and intend to keep it like that!!!!!

flying is great, quick and easy and a wonderful way to see whats below you if you are in a small craft, landing in water, now thats when its not so good (sea planes i mean not crashing) we have one in the city, lands right on the river in the city centre. We have banked on its side straight through the Mull of Kintyre, fabulous!

Sound like kamikaze pilots to me! If we were meant to fly we'd have very strong arms!!

flap flap flap!
it was amazing
i guess you have to be Scottish to have truly appreciated it!

Morning all. Sending ya hugs back CK. Sending hugs to everyone that needs them.
The sun's trying its best to poke through at the moment but it is on the cool side. It feel very autumnal here at the moment.
I've got a bit of a busy day ahead. I'm meeting my dad at lunchtime for a drink and when I get back, I am taking my mum into town. That's after swimming and sorting my council tax out this morning. Never mind. Worse things happen don't they?
Bye for now but I'll be back later.

Good morning 🙂
Your holiday home looks beautiful pcc.... you'll be sad to leave!
I'm tired today. I mean, I am always tired, but had a late night last night - drove into London for a concert for my daughter. Met the little poppet performing (Selena Gomez) and had a photo with her after the show. Got home at midnight.
I need something to give me energy.... I am so fed up now of being tired all the time and looking like I am lazy

I do at least have an excuse for the tiredness, I am anaemic, although the iron tablets are helping.
I am back in hospital, temp is sky high again, they have decided that I have a kidney infection.
Have a good day everyone

It would be nice to have you visit grumpy. The only snag is, he only flies one trip and drives the other as it costs about £1,000. a time. If you don't mind a car trip of four ot five hours, pack your bag!

Morning. WE have had some rain. I was forgetting what rain looked like! lol The garden is very happy. Lovely weekend with the family. Getting back to normal now.
