I'm normally in the gym at 6.30am before work, going to meet about diet on wednesday morning although most of my meals are low fat (chicken, lean ham, prawn salads) so she wasn't to bothered about my diet, she's going to look at what I'm able to do as I can't do high impact (to many knee ops) & currently still having to nurse my foot.

Stan, Danielle is absolutely beautiful.  I've said many a time on here that I absolutely love babies.

Good luck at the gym Gina.  I hope that you reach your goal before you go away.

THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Just had an email from one of my cousins who lives in South Wales.  Her parents also live in South Wales.  They've discovered today that my auntie has got cancer of the throat, stomach and bones.  She's in one hospital in Swansea where she'll be staying for a few days to have more tests and then transfer her over to another hospital nearer to where she lives.  The problem is my uncle.  He had his hip replacements replace about three or four years ago.  He was given tramadol which he had an adverse reaction to.  He is convinced that he will never walk again and he has the attitude that there's nobody as ill as he is.  Just hoping that this brings it home to him that there are people who are in a worse condition than he is.  They have six children and it's the eldest one who keeps in touch more than the others.  Just thinking that there's not much hope.

we only had 6 days off Stan but it was still a shock to go back to work, it just kills me hooves ya know.

Yes, I must take a couple more of the garden, I found some taken when we first moved in a year ago, I can't tell you how it's changed .... I know now why I'm so pooped hahahahah. If the weather is nice tomorrow I'll take the camera out although I think I've missed the boat as some of the flowers are over now.

Thanks for your kind wishes.  I'll probably know more in the next few days.  My uncle has also emailed but his head's all over the place which I can understand.

I can understand why your hooves are bad CB.  My broken toe is feeling a lot better.  It's just a pity that both ankles - including the one I haven't got, hips and knees are bad.  Honestly, do you think that you could get a good body out of the pair of us?  I doubt it.  Woman LOL

Morning all.  Sorry to hear about your family member - well sort of - whose got cancer CK.  My mum was one of six but three of them have died - all with cancer.  It's the wife of the youngest one who has just been diagnosed with cancer.  On a lighter note, I bet you were glad to have Imogen all to yourself yesterday.  I know I would be.

Must go now as I have to get ready for my swim and then I have to be in town for 10 this morning.

See you all soon and hugs to all that need them.heart

(((((Waspy)))))  Hope that you carry for many more years to come.  I've not heard anything else from my family in South Wales but one of my cousins has said that she'll let me know more as soon as she does.

Managed to get to mow the lawn this afternoon.  It's the first time I've mown it for a good few weeks.  The grass didn't grow much with all the hot weather last month and it had dried out enough after all the rain to mow.  At least it looks better now.

Off out for the day tomorrow with 80 pensioners.  We are going to Llandudno.  When we get there, we will be having a three course meal at a hotel after which, we'll have about three hours to do what we want.  I'm looking forward to it.  If I'm lucky, I might get my outfit for Steph and Graham's wedding next month.  Mum's after a new outfit as well.  We shall see.
