Books, look in Marks, thier Per Una range do loads of calf length dresses with matching jackets/shrugs/cardis. I always buy them for weddings. What size do you take?, I've got several sets, worn once to christenings & weddings.

Thanks Gina.  If I had to try the Per Una range, I'd have to go into Liverpool as our M & S doesn't stock Per Una.  I'm a size 14 bordering on a 16,  I'll have a look on the website now.  Thanks again.

Just had a thought.  We're going to Llandudno next Wednesday and there's a big M & S there so I'll have a look in there.  In our M & S, they've only got a few dresses which are not long enough.

Our branch only has a small selection too, York is our nearest large store & I could spend all day wandering around it ....... isn't it sad I'm so easily pleased  

Right I'm away out for the evening now ..... I'm going to the Proms @ Castle Howard ..... typically it is raining
Visiting MIL tomorrow so I won't be around until Tomorrow evening when I will expect to see lots of kitty pics from Twishy

Autograph have a really nice navy and white maxi dress online atm - be nice with a white shrug/jacket.

Well we had a VERY wet but enjoyable evening at the Proms & now were home we have been joined on the settee by Grace (still not got another name for her yet)  whats so strange about that your thinking ................. well just below her on ther floor is the dog ....... Grace keeps peeping over the edge & checking her out

Not bad progress for only  6 days

its strange to think that this time last week Grace was in a neighbouring pen to the Twishy's new babies

Morning all. 

Like the photos CK.  Wonder why I love the name Grace.  Just can't think.  Not spoken to my Grace since she rang me last Sunday.  I'll ring her mum through the week and I'll have a chat with Grace then.

Weather a bit changeable here at the moment.  It's cloudy with some sun and it's a bit breezy.  We've just pegged some washing out so hopefully it won't rain when we are doing a food shop.

Must go now but, as usual, hugs to all that need them.

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY - (a husband's point of view) - By Pam Ayres of course..
The missus bought a Paperback, down Shepton Mallet way, I had a look inside her bag; ... ... T'was "Fifty Shades of Grey". Well I just left her to it, And at ten I went to bed. An hour later she appeared; The sight filled me with dread... In her left she held a rope; And in her right a whip! She threw them down upon the floor, And then began to strip. Well fifty years or so ago; I might have had a peek; But Mabel hasn't weathered well; She's eighty four next week!! Watching Mabel bump and grind; Could not have been much grimmer. And things then went from bad to worse; She toppled off her Zimmer! She struggled back upon her feet; A couple minutes later; She put her teeth back in and said I am a dominater !! Now if you knew our Mabel, You'd see just why I spluttered, I'd spent two months in traction For the last complaint I'd uttered. She stood there nude and naked Bent forward just a bit I went to hold her, sensual like and stood on her left **bleep**! Mabel screamed, her teeth shot out; My god what had I done!? She moaned and groaned then shouted out: "Step on the other one"!! Well readers, I can't tell no more; About what occurred that day. Suffice to say my jet black hair, Turned fifty shades of grey
