do you need your car on the holiday, or is it really just to get there and back ?

To get there & back Shona but a friends hubby has offered to take us down if my car isn't ready.:-)  He or my daughter will pick us up on the last day. It's only down to Beer in Devon so not too far. 🙂

There are three of us, each with sewing machines & all our fabric & stuff as well as clothes etc! Quite a car load!!! :^O

havent been i n here for aday , sorry to hear about your car maggie,  its better its 'gone' while you werent out in it,  my brother had to have 11 of his valves replaced when his went in october

ive something going on, cant work out whether its gum, jaw or ear, paracetemol eases if enough and its only opening my mouth wide thats awkward

I seem to have developed a cough today. I hope it doesn't turn into something nasty for my holiday! 😞 I have taken Bailies for medicine & am off to bed now with my hottie.:-D

Any better today Mags? It's horrible feeling ill when you're due to go on holiday.

Work today then a whole day off & a pile of ironing that will take all day....but you know what? I'm actually looking forward to it. 🙂

Youngest has just started shooting (sorry animal lovers but it's sort of the norm round here & I won't let him mention rabbits) & last night he asked if we could have a bird table! X-( He must think I was born yesterday. 😐

going on a shoot is one thing

 picking wee birds off in your garden another all together

surely you cant do that?

i know if my neighbour started shooting in his garden i wouldnt be pleased, from a safety aspect more than anything

and a big magpie who keeps frightening a baby stoat

it has been here 3 days in a row

i keep chasing the magpie off

but i dunno what i would do with an injured baby stoat:_|
