Happy birthday Damson 🙂

Cooler here today - and I for one am glad. My leg is warm enough without it being hot & muggy.

Bit peeved - we had planned to go out today but now we can't 😞 The terrain makes it impossible on crutches and we can't arrange a wheelchair till the end of the week 😞 Oh and my smallest helper is ill 😞

Hey hippy, I've got a wheelchair in the loft, you can borrow it for as long as you need it.  It's only one of those bog standard black ones, folds up to go in the boot.  Give me a shout if you want it.:-D

CG - thank you 🙂 But we should be able to get one this week - won't need it till next weekend as my helpers will be back at school on Tuesday. Little helper is a tad better - least he's awake and not burning up.

Big helper has been useful today - prepared a roast dinner which is now cooking and assisted me with ironing. His quote today - Mum I don't realise what you do until you don't and I have to instead!!

lol never mind towery i'm sure i make loads of spelling mistakes, i've just had my nails done ( falsies) i'm not used to them and its so funny trying to type cos i'm using the nails instead of my fingers lol.

I have a brolly, i'm hoping thats going to be enough lol

I recently stopped biting my nails after sixty years!  I did stop about five years ago for about a year but they gradually broke and I ended up biting all the rough bits off etc. and carried on from there.  I haven't got the teeth power to bite them now though and although they look so much better and there are things they're useful for, they're also a bit of a nuisance, especially threading needles and picking pins up.  I too keep hitting the wrong keys.:|

I know what you mean CG,  have just tried to thread a needle, took me a while, it was a darning needle at that lol.

I like a bit of nail length 3-4mm but these are 6-7 lol, had to get hubby to cut me some cheese lol

i wish my lot could co-ordinate themselves even just a little bit

i thought the endless rounds of activities when they were younger was hard enough, but this is in a whole other realm, missing soft play was one one thing, missing one of 3 uni visits in 2 days would be another

i have babied them

i could sort myself out at their age, i think they could too, i'm just one of "those mums":_|

Lolly is in and out like a fidllers elbow

bradley spends more time at uni than school, but technically he is still at school

and kirsty is here there and everywhere and i never know when to wake her

my brain hurts:^O
