They don't make comedy shows like they used to. The Good Life, To the Manor Born, Ever Decreasing Circles.  I used to love all those.  I liked The Two Ronnies too, and Porridge.:^O

I liked Little Britain & The League of Gentlemen. The Fast Show was good too. Peter Kay makes me laugh and Victoria Wood. Benidorm & Gavin & Stacey too.:-)

Morning

Victoria Wood was on last night - was a repeat but funny.

Next Tuesday (I think) there's a Good Life night on BBC2 - including the christmas episode - can't wait - tis my favourite programme of all time.

Finished all my wrapping last night and the 2 little teddies I've knitted as a joke for my boys (though I suspect the little one will love his).

Just need to finish a pair of wrist warmers for my sister - she knows they are coming and they should be done for Boxing Day!!

The Victoria Wood was a repeat. I don't like the old sit coms. They seem so dated to me.

No frost here today so I shall go up & see the manager at the Co-op about the wine they charged me for. It all seems a bit dodgy to me.

Morning ladies.:-D  Grey, cold and very windy here. I have to cremate cook Mr Gobblededoo today,  He spent last night outside in a Tesco crate as there was no room  at the inn in the fridge.  I hope he's not frozen!  I've got a nice warm place to put him.:-x

So that I've got a chance to cook the other one tomorrow if this one goes wrong!:^O  I usually cook the turkey a couple of days early, then tomorrow it will be cold and I'll pulverise slice it up ready to take to daughter's on Saturday.  We never carve the turkey at the table because it takes up too much space on the table, also, all the vegetables go cold in the meantime.:-D

Got my money back in the Co-op but no compensation for having to walk a mile in the freezing wind to get it!

I am going to Asda in the morning for salad & veg & ham. My lot are coming on Monday so I need long dates on things.:-)

such a lot to catch up on, lovely pictures, christmas hasnt started in our house yet, spent most of this week watching tv or asleep on sofa, we are going to spend a fortune at castlepiont in the morning after my hospital app, then they are going to get christmas tree up,

you may not know, but there is a rule

that all mums must sit on the sofa and watch everyone else do all the work on christmas eve

AND they have to be waited on hand & foot!

Nice idea merlin but not sure how good Damson would be at the waiting on bit! lol

Just had a visit from my sister which was nice. We agreed to stop present buying several years ago but she came bearing gift! She is naughty as it put me in a spot. I did offer her home made chutney but she said they didn't eat it. If I had done the Oggies in time she could have taken some of those! Oh well.

lol merlin, they have been very good, hoovering,  even cooking diner with a bit of instruction, being a leftie and all this happened on the left hand side has made it worse, dont eat chocolate as it sends my bs into orbit and they are already at 16-18 with all the medication i m taking,
