Cast on 40 stitches
2 x 2 rib for 16 rows
Knit/purl alternate rows for 20 rows
2 x 2 rib for 8 rows
Cast off

Afternoon
Pattern was a mix of various ones and some suggestions from a knitting friend - what I did;
40 stitches
Size 4mm needles
16 rows 2 x 2 rib
20 rows stocking stitch
8 rows 2 x 2 rib
As for stitching up I just put them round me and sort of worked out where the thumb hole should go!!
Have been making mulled cider - tis scrummy *hic*
Need to finish knitting a bear too - got 2 more to do after than I then I've seen a little knitted angel thats similar I want to try out!!
CG - yes it is that Hospital - shall pack my wellies in case we get 2 minutes to play in the snow!!

:-x Thank you both lol :-x
I will sit and do those tonight 🙂
hubby went upstairs to fetch xmas sacks and went to put fresh loo roll in the bathroom, where he felt a splash of water :-S he turned around and the shower is running, it wasn't even switched on, he went in loft to turn water off from there, it didnt work, came down stairs to make sure main power was off, still no joy 😮 had to turn it off at main water supply, before he could find the fault or should i say faults, one was the valve in the loft and the other is the cellenoid not sure if i have spelt that right, so no shower for me, i'll have to relax in the bath instead 🙂

:^O aww bless ya
look at the top on your computer task bar, up there it should say favourites or bookmarks, go to the page you want to save then click on the favourite / bookmarks tab, this will open up a small tab you pick where you want to save in the box and press save/bookmark 🙂
