CG - it would be good if he could go to a group meet so he can speak with others who have the same, it can help as they have more than likely worried about the same things, it could help him lots to understand more about living with it, not everything is taken in when you first get the diagnosis. 🙂

I think he's panicking because he was told he has 'advanced' prostate cancer, which sounds worse than it might be. To a layman, anything 'advanced' sounds really bad, but in the case of prostate cancer means that the cancer has moved out of the gland.  Now this could mean anything really. He has to see the consultant on Wednesday, so he'll be able to find out what's what.  My hubby has had it for nearly nine years and has been fine, although unfortunately things are starting to progress a bit further now.:-(

😞 Cancer is a worrying word CG, there are so many kinds, I for one wish there could be a cure all pill, sadly, in some cases, when they find one that works they complain saying it would cost to much to produce humph.

They've had a bad run of luck really.  His wife has had MS for nearly 40 years, then she had breast cancer about 8 years ago and now this. He was hubby's best friend before I even knew my hubby and was best man at our wedding 43 years ago. It's strange because my daughter has MS too, so I keep checking my boobs!!:^O

I've just made her a skirt.  She said she wanted it 16" long!!  I called her a tart!!  She doesn't look too bad for someone with MS does she!:-D

It's so noisy up there Towery I doubt they would hear the fireworks! I don't expect they would know if one of the dogs was shaking with fear as they are not with them all the time. I will ask on Saturday when I am up there again though.

Means i wont be able to go to whitby :_|

I refuse to run to daddy X-(

It took 1 1/2 hours to walk to post office and back, a brisk walk there and a quick walk back, I was shattered.

I shall be a size 12 in no time, and a foot shorter :^O

My car's not running at the mo either gems.:-(  My daughter took it as she was going to Chelmsford and it needed a good run.  I only do about five miles a fortnight so we thought it would do it good.  Luckily she'd only gone a couple of miles when she noticed it was  overheating.  Son in law spent Saturday afternoon finding the fault and has ordered the new part, £160.  I hate to think what the Audi garage would have charged for the job.:_|
