THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I'm in a lot of pain, but if I keep occupied I can ignore it. It's mostly fine just so lomg as I don't move, especially if I am in bed.

Bed is the most comfortable place for me, so that is where I spend most of my time.

Sorry to hear that Stroppy - hope it improves and well done on all your achievements.

I have been to my Knitting Group, had coffee with a friend, visited my Mum, been to PO, bought trousers for FIL, been shopping for toiletries for FIL, visited FIL and made and eaten tea.

Now vegging in front of TV.

Blimey Mags you've had a busy day.  My mum's knee still isn't too good after her mishap on Easter Sunday.  It's not bothering her all the time but it is still sore nevertheless.  I've suggested taking her to the Walk-In Centre but she's says we'll leave it until tomorrow and see how it's feeling then.  She says it's not too bad when she's sitting down.  Honestly, with my mum and I, you couldn't get a good body out of the pair of us.

Have had a busy day off, shopping for food (yuk) then the garden and out for a picnic (not hard work there!) showers and clothes ready for work tomorrow.

and all the time me hooves are hurting too...ah well...onwards and upwards.....

Morning all.   Hope that everyone is as well as can be expected.

Hope that your hooves feel better this morning CB.  I don't think that being on your feet all day at work helps does it?

My mum's knee doesn't feel too bad this morning even though she said that she's been awaken since aroung 4am.

I've got to try and sort an appointment out with another optician this morning.  I took the glasses I got from Boots back for the final time last Friday and I asked for my money back.  The chappy I saw wasn't too happy about this but I wasn't  happy with the glasses as everything was blurred and they said that everything was alright with them.  They weren't the person who was wearing them.  If I had driven whilst wearing them I would have been a danger on the road as I they were that bad.  I only got my money back at the third time of asking and I also said that they weren't fit for purpose.   Guess where I won't be going back to ever again.

I've booked another sight test at a different opticians and I have to go at 1pm tomorrow.  At least they can't be any worse.  They optician I'm going to is a small local firm and I have used them before but a few years ago.
