Glad you got an appointment. I am off to get my hair cut in a minute. It's a lovely day but rather chilly!

it's been the most beautiful day today, there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the sky was so blue.

we went to have lunch by the shore, and it was such a lovely day, those guys who surf with those big kites were out on the waves, they seemed miles out!!!

it was so nice to have a glorious sunny day...

I even walked up to the morning coffee at the village hall today! I was overtaken by old ladies...oooh the shame hahahahaa

Oooh I'd love that.

When I went for my swim on Thursday, I found out that a lady had had a heart attack in the pool and drowned on Wednesday.  The police are not treating as suspicious thankfully.  Apparently, people who were in the pool at the same time just thought that she was swimming underwater.  None of my friends there seem to know who the lady is.  Her daughter had gone in yesterday to collect the lady's belongings and, naturally, she was very upset.  Apparently, she was only 61.  It just shows though, you must live every minute as if it's your last.

Poor woman. I always thought there was something unnatural about getting your kit off & imersing yourself in cold water! (joke)

At least people won't think I'm swimming under water.  I'm in there alone, the door is locked and there's usually nobody in the house either.  I'm sure hubby would wonder where his lunch was if I didn't come back.  Smiley Indifferent

I can swim... like a brick..

I hate it.. swimming pools make me go cold. ( when actually they usually make me too hot).  I have to go to the pool sometimes with a class from work.. I'm fine on the bus, ok  supervising the changing room but as soon I'm poolside I feel ill. I can't watch children swim.. i'm in a constant state of panic that something is wrong.

Made sure all my children could swim as I know if they were ever In trouble in water I couldn't save them.

Sad news Chris - what a shock for the family!

PCC have you been checked out by your Doctor yet?

My OH has been working away so I have kept myself busy with knitting, Just finished this for a Grandson. It's cotton so hopefully will be good in the Spring, layered over a long sleeved t shirt.

That's a lovely top Mags.  I'm sure that your grandson will love it.

Yes I feel for the family of that lady.  I don't know whether or not I knew her because I know a lot of people by sight only.

Hope that you went on alright at the doctors Von.
