I will photograph it tomorrow as there is still a load of things to go back in.  I don't think that the decorator had decorated such a small room.  I'm just going to have a rest now as I am shattered.  I've just pust the curtains back up and when I've had a rest, I'll put my bedside cabinet in later.  I've only had it done in magnolia walls and white gloss.  This is mainly because the room is so small.

Thanks a lot for your kind thoughts CB.  Also, I don't anyone else could sound like my mother.  It's impossible. 

Think I'll go and make my hot chocolate drink as I am in dire need of something to make me feel more human.  I don't feel like I've stopped properly since around 7am this morning.  At least, I did meet a couple of friends for lunch so that was nice.

I think that you're right Merc.  I don't think that I will need much rocking tonight.  Has anyone got any matchsticks?  My eyes need them.  My aches have got aches at the moment.

Ooo I love the smell of fresh paint

CB ... I've not stopped looking after her she's still only with her Mum on a weekend, it was only supposed to be for a few months but now her Mums childcare plans have had to change because of her work placements & Son doesn't really want to leave his job & move ............ so she's staying here

Morning all.  

CK, the house still smells of paint so you would be in your element here.  There's still plenty of things to be moved out of the living room and my mum's bedroom back into my room but it looks better already.  I had a brilliant night's sleep in my own bed.  Mind you, at one point late yesterday afternoon, I started to look for a new bed online 'cos my bed was been so awkward in being put back together again.  The decorator asked me to kneel down once so that I could hold part of the frame.  That would have been alright if my knees weren't absolutely shot at.  I haven't been able to kneel down for about 20 years at least but there's worse off than me though.   I'll put everything back this afternoon and then I take some piccies.

I'll be having three grandchildren tonight!  Two all night and one until about 10.30 when her dad gets back with his other one.

Why do you think Lottie looks like this, did I tell her the world's supply of dog food has run out, did I tell her she was off to the V.E.T.'s or did I tell her she's off to the dogs home???

None of those, the cleaner has the vacuum cleaner going at the other end of the house!!

Our dogs not keen on the hoover either
I have actually started to hoover Imogen   ...  I realised I always used to do it when she was in bed & did it one day when she was around & she was a little wary of it, her mum has laminate floors so doen't own a hoover. I didn't want her to be scared of it so I wait now until she's on the floor & gradually she's got used to it ........ so I put on the attachment & run it up & down her saying  "your turn now"  & she giggles her little head off

Afternoon all.  More or less finished putting everything back in my bedroom and I am shattered.  I'll put the rest back tomorrow.  My bedroom is too small to get it all in one photo so I've taken three.  Hope that you can see it properly.

Oh great joy and rejoicing, I have persuaded the poor unsuspecting locum at the GP surgery to provide me with a sick note that says I am fit to work 10 hours per week for 4 weeks starting the 3rd of Feb.

I am so fed up, bored and sick and tired of my two current "time fillers", they both pay peanuts and are mind numbingly boring.

I shall have intelligent conversation and the company of "real" people - you lot are fabulous, but it is good to be with "real" folks sometimes.

I am happy, oh so happy ....................................
