THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Afternoon all.

The main problems I have with my hair are that it's too thick and it grows like grass.  Had it cut last week and I'm having it cut again in another four weeks.  By then, it will probably have grown another inch and it's worse in summer.

mine is fine but very thick, it grows like crazy and from the top of my head, I end up looking like a pineapple when it's ready for a cut.

I just wish that my hair would stay on my head - I am sick of picking hair off the pillow every morning!

In the films, the female star gets up in the morning ( after a night of passion ) & not a hair out of place.

I wake up ( no passion ) & my hair looks like a pygmy's hut !

Please don't take this the wrong way, it really is NOT meant as a racist or derogatory remark - there are days when I am sorely tempted by muslim dress - the hair totally covered, and a long sleeved dress that covers from neck to ankle. No worrying about what to wear, or what sort of mess the hair is.  I wouldn't go as far as the burqa or the face veil though.

Beautiful, just gorgeous!  Woman Happy  Mine used to love baked beans and tinned spaghetti in tomato sauce (not together) from about 6 months old.

My daughter bought me a satin duvet cover and pillow slips.  I thought they were a bit 'tart's boudoir' but had to use them of course.  I found the pillow slip priceless.  Before I had it I looked as though I'd been dragged through a hedge backwards when I got up in the morning.  With it my hair looks the same when I get up as when I went to bed.  Whichever duvet cover I use, I ALWAYS have the satin slip, even if it doesn't match!Woman Wink

Beautiful little girl, looking pleased after beans. We have twins and they are growing up way too fast, miss having a cuddle at the little bundles... now they bounce all over the place... ah youth.

Who wakes up with "bed face"?

You go to brush your teeth, see yourself in the mirror, and think is that tramlines or spaghetti junction impressed into your face.... eek.Woman Indifferent Woman Embarassed

Perhaps your satin pillows would help?

They certainly do mepixin.  No tramlines for me, although it's a pity they can't get rid of the wrinkles aquired over the previous 65 years!  Smiley Sad
