Thanks muchly for the hugs Merc. I admit to being a person who likes to give hugs. I've been like that since Grace's mum was little and she's 22 now but will soon be 23. Loves hugs both giving and receiving them.

Morning all. There's nothing wrong with a hug exchange or two is there? Here's some more (((((Hugs))))).
We've just had a really heavy downpour and it is set for the day methinks. Thinks that I will soon develop webbed feet. At least it's not windy here - yet.

Lovely day here. Sunny & just a gentle breeze. I think it's the lul before the storm as we are promised gales for Sunday & Monday. Just giving my glasses a clean & the lense has popped out. The screw is missing so I will have to go into town now to get them fixed. I could have done without that!

Well done Dairy. You've been very busy I see.
Just had a thunderstorm which has now finished with us thankfully. My Internet went down again and it took me about 10 minutes to get back. Grrrrrrrrr. At least I'm back now.

Morning all. Holds plate out ready in anticipation of more of CB's delicious crumble.
You're right CB, we've had two thunderstorms in six days. Mind you, the afternoon of both storms were warm and then it cooled down so hence the thunder. Never mind. At least it's gone now.
Must go 'cos I go swimming earlier on a Saturday 'cos the littlies go in at 9am. It's not so much them but the adults they take with them. The adults behave worse than the kids. They even get the kids ready for their swimming lessons in the toilets. They haven't got the sense to realise that there is a massive locker room where they could get changed and they must use a small toilet area to get their little darlings changed. Honestly, some people haven't got the sense they were born with.

Morning all. Quite a bit of rain last night but it's dry at the moment. I hope this bad weather forcast for Sunday & Monday fizzles out in the Atlantic. Have a good day everyone.

Rabbit resuscitation...
A man was driving along the highway, and saw a rabbit hopping across the middle of the road. He swerved to avoid hitting the rabbit, but unfortunately the rabbit jumped in front of the car and was hit. The driver, being a sensitive man as well as an animal lover, pulled over to the side of the road and got out to see what had become of the rabbit. Much to his dismay, the rabbit was dead. The driver felt so awful he began to cry.
A woman driving down the highway saw the man crying on the side of the road and pulled over. She stepped out of her car and asked the man what was wrong. "I feel terrible," he explained. "I accidentally hit this rabbit and killed it."
The woman told the man not to worry. She knew what to do. She went to he car trunk and pulled out a spray can. She walked over to the limp, dead rabbit, and sprayed the contents of the can onto the rabbit.
Miraculously, the rabbit came to life, jumped up, waved its paw at the two humans and hopped down the road. 50 meters away the rabbit stopped, turned around, waved at the two again, hopped down the road another 50 meters, turned, waved, and hopped another 50 meters.
The man was astonished. He couldn't figure out what substance could be in the woman's spray can! He ran over to the woman and demanded, "What was in your spray can? What did you spray onto that rabbit?"
The woman turned the can around so that the man could read the label.
It said:
"'Hare Spray' Restores Life to Dead Hare. Ads Permanent Wave."

That's brilliant Merc.
Had a busy afternoon as we had an hour or so in garden weeding and pulling up the bedding plants. We have a quite a lot of blue sky and sun at the moment. The wind has got up a bit though now.

Maggie - I have a little repair kit with a tiny screwdriver and spare screws, and bits - means that you can make emergency repairs - my specs always break when the opticians is closed!
I will look out for one for you.
