I don't know capt.  The nurse was only about 18 and said it might have just been the last one, this one might be ok.  I'll have to see if anything happens in the next few days.:-(

Welshy glad you've got your date but hoping there might be a cancellation before that 🙂

CG I'm not sure about the low sodium, can they get that fixed before your date?? 🙂

CG - they will be bothered about low sodium because it can be an indicator of poor kidney function, an under-active thyroid or congestive heart failure.

A low sodium level can be due to water retention, or drinking too much water

A severely low sodium level can in itself cause symptoms, but it has to be pretty low to cause symptoms.

I just thought stroppy, she couldn't get any blood from either arm on Thursday so they had to get the doctor to do it.  She told me to drink two cups of water while I waited for the doctor, but that wouldn't be enough to cause it, would it?

No, of course not, because if it was, they wouldn't get people to do it would they!:|

The two cups of water right before the blood test could perhaps be the reason for a slightly low sodium level.

There is probably nothing whatsoever wrong, but they will want to be sure that there isn't some under-lying problem

Yes Moosie I'm knitting again today.  At least it keeps me out of mischief.  I've not done as much today because I had to take my mum into town this afternoon for a sight test.

Hope that everyone who is under the weather is soon feeling better.

Hugs to everyone.

That's nothing CB.  It was third time lucky for my mum 'cos I had to cancel two appointments when she was ill the other week with the chest infection.  Mum's new glasses should be ready next week so that's another trip into town for her.  I'm going to have watch this - she'll be getting used to escaping from the house.:-D

Enjoy your knitting Chris 😄

I'm way overdue for an eye test. Because of my agoraphobia, they used to come to me, but they only ever bring horrible looking frames 😞

So I'm really wanting to get to an optician now, I've been trying to find one in a little village or similar, so that we can park the car and I wont have far to go, not having any such luck though 😞

Because I'm only just at the beginning of my CBT treatment, I still can only go to places by car and it has to be parked really close by or I just go into panic 😞

Specsavers is in the town, the high street and the bus from here stops right outside, but I'm just not sure if I could do it or not ?:|

Morning all! Hope some of this sunshine is reaching you! Only two more days. Yesterday would have been Amber''s 21st so it was a strange day. Will try to look in later but wifi is very weak! One dot at best. I'm so in love with this village that we had a look at property. Cheapest, old, grotty two bedroom flat £290,000! Methinks the Greeks think we were born yesterday !

Oh well, it's 9.40 here, better drag a bikini on and traipse outside the bedroom door onto a subbed. What?! Someone's got to do it!

Yes Huggles, someone has to do the sunbathing.  Might try it - if ever we get any sun!!  Huggles has pinched it. 😮

CG, hope all goes well and they don't cancel your op. It is awful when you have got yourself all prepared, then get let down.

I took extra painkillers last night, and combined with being so tired, I got a really good, deep sleep, first time in ages! 🙂

I've tried too hard and worn too many different bikinis so I look like a pink zebra .
