I think it already is. I've been watching all the roads out of Bognor being closed due to accidents caused by ice. Hope I can get home OK without resorting to walking along the beach!

 Busy cooking for a change, for  my son and his girlfriend,  as they are having a going away party in the new village hall tonight. They are going to America for 3 months and  then onto Australia for a year. Hope nothing goes wrong with the heating whilst he is away;-)

I'm making mince pies today,maybe,sometime,perhaps ....well it's on me list B-)...not for a party though,just for the freezer 🙂

That sounds wonderful Rhubarb....are they travelling around Australia or staying in one spot?

They are travelling/working around Australia. He went around 10 years ago  and loved it, the only thing that he didn't like was when he lifted a dingy/boat and there was a curled up snake under it. J has her job when she comes home and don't think son will have problems as he is a plumber/heating engineer

It sounds as though they are going to have a trip of a lifetime,I hope they send you loads of pictures of their adventures....

have just had the house practically demolished getting gas heating in, fireplace had to be pulled out, floors all pulled up (and unable to save them).

trying to get the living room half decent for xmas, not going to buy anything till the sales, so the rest will have to look like a tip.

on a good note, i was in a dispute over a suite i bought of a local shop for over a year (£1,600), the day i was sorting out my papers for small claims, he rang and give me a full refund.

spied a suite on gumtree for £185 leather :O.......went to see it, and it was immaculate. its now in my living room, though its a tad lower to the ground, so i might replace the feet.

can afford to replace the flooring now....yipee
